Independent venture capital fund management company, Rivers Capital Partners, has recently entered into a collaborative partnership agreement with Ground Six to work together to more readily identify software and IT businesses suitable for growth, commercialisation and venture capital investment.
Managers of the £9m North East Angel Fund since its inception in 2010, Rivers are strong supporters of the region’s digital creative industry complimenting the vast range of web and app development and design support Ground Six offers. Both businesses share an ethos to work with aspiring individuals who are driven to pursue innovative or unusual ideas.
Rivers brings over 50 years direct investment experience in the creation and growth of companies in markets from technology to design. The senior management team has managed over £140m in private and public Funds to date. Ground Six has been at the forefront of software development in the region since 2012. Established to explore high-growth online products and concepts, they offer some of the fastest and most elegant solutions available and are the talent and expertise behind the taking of innovative ideas or concepts through build to launch and beyond.
